Terms of Service / Condiciones de Servicio
These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the provision of the Ship on a dime and Ship on a dime website and mobile applications (collectively, the “Products and Services”) by Ship on a dime (“Ship on a dime”) to the customer (“Customer” or “You”) who executes this online transaction.
This Agreement is effective upon Customer’s creation of an online account with Ship on a dime (“Effective Date”). Any use of the Services signifies Customer’s acceptance of these Terms of Service, which are subject to change without prior notice.
Customer’s use of Ship on a dime’s website and the Products and Services is also subject to Ship on a dime’s Privacy Policy, which Ship on a dime may amend or suspend at its discretion. By using the Products and Services, Customer confirms being of legal age to enter a binding contract and having read, understood, and accepted these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Service Commitments
Ship on a dime will provide the Products and Services as outlined in this Agreement, starting on the Effective Date, contingent upon the Customer fulfilling their obligations as detailed in this Agreement.
Term and Renewal
This Agreement starts on the Effective Date and continues until ended as described in this document. If you chose a service term when ordering, you agree to adhere to that term length.
Customer Set-Up, Account Management, and Cancellation
You may need to create an account, including a username and password, and pre-fund your account to purchase shipping labels. You agree to provide Ship on a dime with accurate and updated information. You’re responsible for any costs due to inaccurate information (like incorrect weight).
If you have a subscription service, canceling requires:
(i) Submitting an online cancellation form at least 5 days before your term ends. (ii) Calling Ship on a dime to confirm your cancellation.
You’re responsible for properly notifying Ship on a dime to cancel. Ship on a dime will refund any unused pre-funded amount, minus any outstanding fees.
Termination or Suspension by Ship on a dime
Ship on a dime can terminate this Agreement immediately and without penalty under these circumstances:
Non-payment: If you fail to pay any overdue amount within 10 days of receiving written notice.
Breach of Agreement: If you violate any part of this Agreement (other than those listed in clauses iii, iv, and v below) and don’t fix the issue within 10 days of written notice.
Business Failure: If your business ceases operation, becomes insolvent or bankrupt, undergoes liquidation or insolvency proceedings that aren’t dismissed within 90 days, or makes an assignment for the benefit of creditors.
Prohibited Actions: If you breach Section 14 (Prohibited Actions).
Privacy Violation: If you violate the Ship on a dime Privacy Policy.
Ship on a dime can also suspend your online account if you breach Section 14, fail to keep your billing information updated, or if there’s suspected fraudulent activity on your account.
Customer Termination / Effects of Termination
You can terminate this Agreement for all Products and Services without penalty (except for any outstanding charges) if:
Ship on a dime materially breaches its obligations to provide the Products and Services.
This breach is not resolved within 30 business days of Ship on a dime receiving your written notice detailing the breach.
If you terminate the Agreement, you must pay all outstanding charges up to the termination date. Ship on a dime will refund any unused pre-funded amount after settling your account.
Once this Agreement is terminated, neither party has further obligations except as outlined in this Agreement. You must then:
Pay all outstanding charges to Ship on a dime.
Return all software, access keys, and other Ship on a dime property, if any.
Payment / Fee Disputes / Collections
· You agree to pay all charges in US dollars. This includes fees, penalties, shipment adjustments, early cancellation fees, and any other costs outlined in this Agreement. We collect usage fees from your pre-paid account, which you must keep funded. If your balance goes negative, we’ll charge any payment method on file.
· If you don’t pay within 5 days of receiving a notice, we may suspend or terminate your service. We can charge interest on overdue amounts (1.4% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower). You’ll also cover any costs we incur collecting payments, including legal fees. There’s a $20 fee for each disputed credit card charge.
· Ship on a dime Ship usage fees are non-refundable, even if we end the Agreement early. You’re responsible for any customs, import taxes, or duties on your shipments. If we get charged these fees for your shipment, you’ll reimburse us within 7 days.
Indemnification
You agree to protect and defend Ship on a dime, its related companies, and its people (directors, officers, etc.) from any losses, claims, damages, or expenses (collectively “Losses”) that might happen because of:
Your breach of this Agreement: Including violating Section 14 (Prohibited Actions).
Your use of the Products and Services.
Your breach of confidentiality.
Any claim of trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property infringement.
You’ll also reimburse Ship on a dime for any legal costs related to investigating, defending, or settling such Losses, even if it’s not a lawsuit.
Disclaimers; Limitation on Company Liability
Ship on a dime’s Role
Ship on a dime acts as a middleman between you and the shipping carrier you choose (like USPS, FedEx, or UPS). We don’t handle the actual shipping or delivery, and we’re not part of any agreement you make with the carrier. You’re responsible for following the carrier’s rules, and breaking them could result in penalties or account termination.
Ship on a dime’s Liability
Ship on a dime is not responsible for:
Indirect damages, lost profits, or lost revenue from using our Products and Services.
Data loss due to delays, delivery issues, service interruptions, or Ship on a dime’s negligence. You’re responsible for backing up your own data.
Disputes
If there’s a dispute between users or between you and a carrier, Ship on a dime is not obligated to get involved. You release Ship on a dime from any responsibility related to such disputes.
Liability Limits
Ship on a dime’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Ship on a dime in the billing cycle before the claim occurred.
No Warranties
Ship on a dime provides all Products and Services “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied. We’re not responsible for the suitability of the Products and Services.
Time Limit on Claims
You can’t make a claim against Ship on a dime more than one year after the event that caused the claim.
Promotions and Coupons
Ship on a dime may offer promotions at its discretion. These promotions can be short-term or ongoing. Please note that free shipping is not available for bulk orders or destinations outside the continental US. All promotions have eligibility requirements, and Ship on a dime can change or cancel them at any time.
Refunds
Ship on a dime Ship Account Balance
You can request a refund of your Ship on a dime Ship account balance, minus any service and processing fees. This refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Postage Refunds
Ship on a dime Shipping Accounts: You can request a refund for UPS or USPS labels within 7 days of creating them. Refunds may take up to a month and may be subject to carrier fees. Ship on a dime Ship service fees are non-refundable.
Carrier Shipping Accounts: You can request a refund for labels from your linked carrier accounts within 7 days. The carrier handles these refunds based on their own policies. Ship on a dime is not responsible for refunds if the carrier refuses. Each refund request has a $1.00 audit fee.
Shipment Credit Codes
Your account must be in good standing to use credit codes. Codes have no cash value and can’t be transferred or sold without Ship on a dime’s permission. Ship on a dime is not responsible for lost or stolen codes.
• Refunds for Shipping Labels
• If you’ve purchased a shipping label through a Ship on a dime-provided shipping account, you can request a void or refund within 7 days of creating the label. For UPS return labels, you must request the void on the same day the label was created.
• Refunds can take up to one month to process and may be subject to fees from the carrier (UPS or USPS). Any remaining refund amount will be credited to your Ship on a dime Ship account.
• Please note that the Ship on a dime Ship service fee is non-refundable. Also, if the carrier refuses to issue a refund for the label, Ship on a dime is not responsible for providing that refund.
Refunds for Shipping Labels from Linked Carrier Accounts
If you’ve used your own carrier account (like UPS or FedEx) linked to Ship on a dime Ship to generate a shipping label, you can request a void or refund within 7 days of creating it.
However, the carrier will handle your refund request based on their own terms and conditions, not Ship on a dime’s. Ship on a dime can’t guarantee a refund, even if you make the request within 7 days.
Important Notes:
Ship on a dime Ship service fees are not refundable.
If the carrier refuses your refund request, Ship on a dime is not responsible for reimbursing you.
There is a $1.00 audit fee for each adjustment request.
Disclaimer of Liability for Inaccurate Shipment Data: Customers are solely responsible for the accuracy of all package dimensions (length, width, and height) and weight information provided during the shipment creation process. Shiponadime shall not be liable for any shipping errors, rate adjustments, or other consequences resulting from the customer’s submission of inaccurate data.
Sometimes, carriers (like UPS or FedEx) may request adjustments to the postage fees. This usually happens if you entered incorrect information about your shipment, such as the weight, dimensions, or delivery address.
If this happens, Ship on a dime will update your account balance to reflect the adjustment. If you disagree with the adjustment, contact Ship on a dime within 7 days, and we’ll open a dispute with the carrier. However, the carrier makes the final decision, and you’re responsible for paying any adjustments they decide on. These adjustments will be deducted from your Ship on a dime account.
Funding Your Account
When you add funds to your Ship on a dime account, you might see some processing fees depending on how you pay. These fees cover the cost of processing your payment. You’ll always see the fee amount before you complete the transaction.
For credit cards, the current processing fees are:
$0.85: For amounts less than $100.
$1.00: For amounts of $100 or more.
Shipment Credit Codes
To use a shipment credit code, your account must be in good standing and comply with Ship on a dime’s Terms of Service. Ship on a dime decides whether your account is in good standing, and this decision is final.
Here are some key things to know about shipment credit codes:
No Cash Value: You can’t exchange them for cash or a refund.
Expiration: Unused credit expires on the date specified.
No Debt Payment: You can’t use them to pay off outstanding fees or debts.

Order Shipping and Customer Choices

You assume responsibility for the shipment’s delivery if you choose to change the carrier’s process and delivery.
In simpler terms:

- The arrival date is defined as the day the package was confirmed as received at our facility.
2. Notification:
- While we endeavor to notify customers of package arrivals, it remains the customer’s responsibility to track their shipments and arrange for timely pickup.
3. Unclaimed Package Action:
- If a package remains unclaimed for more than 30 calendar days at our agency location, it will be automatically returned to sender (the origin of the shipment).
- Customers will be responsible for any additional shipping charges incurred for the return of the package to the sender.
4. Exceptions:

At Ship on a Dime, we aim to provide accurate delivery estimates for all your shipments. However, our ability to guarantee a specific delivery date is contingent upon the timely receipt of your package by the courier.
Please Note:
- Delivery dates provided at the time of label creation are estimates only. These estimates are based on the assumption that your package will be dropped off or picked up by the courier on the same day the label is printed, or within a reasonable timeframe thereafter.
- If a shipping label is printed but the corresponding package is not delivered to the courier facility (e.g., dropped off at a UPS Store, FedEx Office, or picked up by a USPS carrier) on the expected day, the original delivery date cannot be guaranteed.
- Any delays in delivering the package to the courier facility will directly impact the estimated delivery timeframe.
We strongly advise customers to drop off their packages at the courier facility or ensure they are ready for pickup as soon as possible after printing the shipping label to maintain the most accurate delivery estimates. Ship on a Dime is not responsible for delays caused by packages not being tendered to the courier in a timely manner.
